Russia Five

Named for: Russia’s 5-0 victory in the first World Cup 2018 game

This is inspired by and a tribute to the World Cup 2018, which was an enjoyable watch. It’s named after the opening match of the main tournament.

Cinqcent by Allison James

Cinqcent

Named for: The number 500 in French

This was the 500th font released by Chequered Ink. I chose to name it after the French for 500 due to the letter similarities between “Cinqcent” and “Chequered Ink”

Spider Talent by Allison James

_FontPreview600.png

Spider Talent

Named for: Jim Sterling’s Horrid Spider contest from Jimquisition episode “Talent is an Asset

This was entered into Sterling’s contest to make a creative work, using a heavily overused Unity model, “Horrid Spider”, as a base. I naturally went the route of making a font with it.

Jim had some wonderfully kind words for Spider Talent, separating it as a runner up in the contest results featured on the Jimquisition episode “The Cost of Doing Business”.

Vermin Vibes Mert by Allison James

_FontPreview.png

Vermin Vibes Mert

Named for: Mert Karaoglan

Mert Karaoglan used Vermin Vibes in one of his projects, and tragically passed away at a young age a while later. One of his friends got in touch regarding it and noting that he had a tattoo of “Mert”, in Vermin Vibes, in his honour.

The story sort of threw me for a loop, and I made this variant of the font in his name as a personal tribute. It is free for all use, including commercial.
