Monoquous 2 by Allison James

All laws of physics are a suggestion.

Monoquous 2 is a challenging puzzle platformer in which you can phase through walls to invert the world around you, taking the direction of gravity with it - up becomes down, black becomes white, and deadly obstacles lose and gain their threat along the way.

Switch on and off new walls and paths, scale long conveyors, and don't touch anything pointy... at least not in your own realm.

Monoquous 2 features 130 levels, 30 returning from the original game and 100 new to Monoquous. Each level also features a hidden cat, a minimum phase and jump goal, a set of time trials, and beyond that are speedrun and permadeath runs. Finishing the game is fairly accessible, 100%ing it will test you.

Unlock tints to pretend colour exists in this universe, and read an 80-line poem that unlocks as you find more and more cats.

Also features some accessibility options in which you can turn on or off things like graphical swaying and inversion.

Pachog Day by Allison James

Every sixty seconds, a clone of you spawns and repeats your actions transposed by a minute.

Collect Unbranded Original Flavour Capsules. Don't run into your past selves constantly repeating your past movements. And advance the level, but be aware - your past selves will still follow your route, so they'll be able to travel through walls that weren't there a minute ago!

Features online highscores courtesy of Dan Johnston (coded in the allotted time... for his own gm48 entry. And then I had to cry until he helped me steal his code.)

All other programming, all art and all music made by me.

1 Girl 2 Cups by Allison James

0960_0200_ItchioHeader.png

Wakka wakka, motherlovers.

You're an innocent, dual-uzi-wielding bikini-clad girl trapped in a Japanese burial ground, and the inhabitants aren't having any of it.

Dash around, collecting ammunition for your uzis. Find new and exotic weapons: like the Katana that is made out of purest grade aluminium maybe! Or the flamethrower that is secretly powered by love! Or maybe you're more into the inner workings of the chainsaw, since you're a bit of a carpentry fanatic... or are delusional and think that all the enemies are trees.

Upload your highscore to GameJolt, and have the leaderboard and the flashing display of the global best score permanently remind you how much worse you are than everybody else! And earn GJ trophies if you're into that sort of thing, you filthmongerer.

1 Girl. 2 Cups. 3 of something.

Hm.

1 Girl 2 Cups came 9th in GMC Jam #19.

Gamanstake by Allison James

0960_0200_ItchioHeader.png

Gamanstake is a very long maze / exploration / adventure game made in 2006. Until Elemence later on, this was my “prized” game. You play as a dude called Gea Mastert (an anagram of “Age Matters”, don’t know why) who has been trapped in an evil set of killer mazes called The Gamanstake Mazes. He must go through trying to find the source of evil.

If you persevere the boringness of the gameplay it does actually contain a fair bit of variety. An aeroplane stage, a racing stage, a mix of maze and platforming levels, a few different areas and a storyline bulk it out a lot. This was my longest game in terms of unique gameplay for quite a while!
